United Way of Coastal Fairfield County proudly serves 12 neighboring communities along the coast.  The United Way of Coastal Fairfield County develops and supports programs that benefit the residents of our diverse communities, from towns such as Weston that include about 10,000 residents to larger cities such as Bridgeport with over 140,000 residents.  We are able to change systems and address the underlying causes of problems through the commitment of members of town government, business and community leaders and caring citizens from the various towns in our region.  Our volunteers and advocates are passionate about working together to bring about change and progress. The United Way of Coastal Fairfield County strives to advance the common good by addressing the distinctive needs of each local community regardless of their varying economic or social conditions. In Bridgeport we focus on ending chronic homelessness, whereas in Westport we target risky behavior in teens.
