United Way works to improve people’s lives and change community conditions by:

• Providing leadership on education, income, and health in our communities
• Mobilizing volunteers, businesses, and other organizations and connect them to community needs
• Investing Community Fund dollars based on alignment with United Way outcomes
• Identifying additional resources to address community needs
• Making possible philanthropic contributions to local non-profits
• Measuring and communicating results, needs, and successes
