The issue of underage drinking is a serious one, and one that is hard to address without changing the social norms in our communities on what is acceptable. A Tri-Community Collaborative in Weston, Wilton and Westport has worked over the past three years on changing community norms through a grant from the State of CT DMHAS Strategic Prevention Framework, which was awarded to and managed by Positive Directions. United Way was proud to be an active partner and member of the SPF Steering Committee.
