Chairman’s Circle Corporate Partners

Chairman’s Circle Corporate Partners are those companies who raise $100,000 or more for United Way of Coastal Fairfield County throughout the course of a year.  Each company has supported United Way in a variety of ways that are examples of GIVE. ADVOCATE. VOLUNTEER.  Chairman’s Circle Partners hold employee campaigns each year, but also raise funds through special events and corporate gifts.

United Way of Coastal Fairfield County thanks its Chairman’s Circle Corporate Partners: Aquarion Water Co., Deloitte, GE, People’s United Bank, Pepperidge Farm, RBS National Bank, and Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation.

Aquarion employees became aware of food insecurity in our local school systems.  They learned about United Way's Kids' BackPack Program where identified students receive supplemental food items on Fridays so that they have sufficient food over the weekend.  These bags of food are prepared by volunteers.  Aquarion offered to work at the Connecticut Food Bank preparing the Kid's BackPack food bags.

People's United Bank Employees from the Bridgeport Center headquarters held a food drive in their 1st and 3rd floor lobbies for two consecutive Fridays in November.  Dozens of cases of food were donated to the Connecticut Food Bank.

As a fall fundraiser, RBS Card Services held their 3rd Annual Harvest Festival.  Over 40 RBS colleagues donated their favorite dishes and sold them to benefit United Way.  Tempting fare included a pancake breakfast, hot dogs, sausage wontons, pulled pork, stuffed shells, empanadas, and countless breads and desserts. Over $1,000 was raised for United Way's Community Fund.
