United Way Partners with Red Cross to Help Relief Efforts

United Way of Coastal Fairfield County is supporting the disaster relief work being done to help the residents of Bridgeport, especially the hardest hit East Side.  United Way will be working together with nonprofit organizations, businesses and neighborhood citizens to support the needs that unfold as it is determined what it will take to rebuild.  Our hope is that the generous spirit of those in the area will be compelled to support the disaster relief efforts, but also to support the ongoing rebuilding and transformation of the community.   If you are interested in how the relief efforts are progressing or would like to volunteer your time, please call the City Emergency Operations Center at 203-579-3829 or call the Red Cross at 1-877-287-3327.
