The Champion’s Mentoring Program is committed to enhancing the resiliency of children through caring relationships and supportive family services. Champion’s is a mentoring program for children between the ages of 6 and 13 in the Bridgeport community and surrounding towns; who have one or both parents or close family member currently incarcerated in a state prison. Here at Champions we have two tiers of mentoring school base mentoring which meets for 45 minutes at the child’s school. Our evening based mentoring meets for 1 1/2 hours a week mentors have a choice of either Tuesday or Wednesday evening.  We ask for a full year commitment to the program.  Evening based mentoring tier does run during the summer.
