Celebrating its Tenth Anniversary, Shepherds' mission is to reach out to deserving, disadvantaged inner city Connecticut youth with the opportunity for a quality education at six nonpublic partnership high schools and the introduction of an adult role model - a Mentor - who fills a void in their lives. Mentors make time and financial investments. Shepherds provides training, resources and activities. Program's extended one-on-one Mentor/Student relationship is unique with a proven track record.
