The Westport Mentor Program (est. in 1992) is a collaboration of Westport’s Department of Human Services and the Westport Public School System. It is a school-based program where individuals from the community meet with a school aged child for approximately 45 minutes to one hour per week, on school grounds, during the school year, to offer friendship, support—and a non-judgmental ear. Mentors are matched to students grades K-12.
